Epoque is a 9 million euro investment, located in the vicinity of Cişmigiu Park, in downtown Bucharest. Opened at the end of last year it is the newest boutique hotel in the city. The building, started in 2007, belongs to D&M Perfect Real Estate, having Dan Claudiu Pârâu as a shareholder.
The hotel offers 45 apartments, each one measuring between 35 and 110 sqm. Alex Oproiu, general director of the developer, the investment could be recovered in ten years. Epoque is managed by Trend Hospitality (company leaded by Tinu Sebeşanu) and one opened it has been affiliated to the international group of independent hotels Worldhotels. According to Kuhnen, general director of the hotel, Epoque targets Nordic and German tourists, as well as customers from neighboring countries or Italy. It will be promoted among business people and for those that might consider Bucharest an attractive weekend destination.
