INDIA wants to conquer the Western Europe

With a huge touristic potential, India wants to be more present on the market of eastern Europe. This summer, the representative of promotion of India, for Europe, Russia, Great Britain and Israel, has organised a Road Show, carried out on the route Poland, Hungary and Romania under the slogan ”Incredible India”. Mrs. Roma Singh, the regional manager of the representative from Frankfurt declared us, in Bucharest, that there is a great interest to develop sustainable partnerships with Romanian travel agents, and in this respect, one follows the identification of some operators interested to develop this market. India received in 2013 around 6.85 million foreign tourists. The prognoses of government form 2017 estimate an increase of their number on over 12 million. On this turn, Ramkumar Vijayan, assistant of the manager, declared that, among so many cultural and natural attractions, India holds around 30 sites part of global patrimony of UNESCO.

40 young women has presented their qualities in the final international beauty competition “Miss European Tourism 2014”. The current edition has been accommodated by Cantacuzino Castle from Bușteni resort (Prahova county). The candidates for the title of Miss have defiled in national costumes specific to the countries from where they are coming, in different parts of underthings, as well as in elegant, evening clothes. The trophy of the competition and the crown of Miss Tourism were awarded to the 21-year old Lithuanian, Kristina Rancane. The 2nd and 3rd places were occupied by Bleta Gashi from Kosovo, respectively by Elvira Ivashenko from Ukraine. The title of ”Miss Bușteni” was won by Mihaela Radu, the representative of Romaine, and Inga Ojog from Moldova Republic – received the prize for Popularity.

Bucharest – A new waive of touristic ambassadors

During the third gall of the Ambassadors of Romanian Tourism, the tennis Players Simona Halep and Horia Tecău, the swordsman Mihai Covaliu, the gipsy student Anina Ciuciu, the computer scientist Ionuț Budișteanu and the violinist Alexandru Tomescu received the titles of ambassadors and the related diplomatic passports.

On the event organised in the complex Stejarii Country Club from Băneasa forest, Florin Jianu, the delegated minister for Tourism, stated that the new honorific ambassadors will be involved in a range of events to promote Romanian tourism. Jianu declared that the ”Ministry will present a range of European caravans to promote the touristic brand, and a part of the ambassadors of tourism will be presents in exhibitions and specialised international fairs, such as those from Berlin, London, Milano etc”. The same honorific distinction was awarded previously to some personalities such as Ivan Patzaichin, Ștefan Popa Popas, Gabriela Szabo, Gheorghe Zamfir, Nadia Comăneci, Dumitru Prunariu, Ilie Năstase, Helmuth Duckadam etc.

BRAȘOV – Oktoberfest, let the beer flow 

One of the largest festivals of beer in Eastern Europe, Oktoberfest from Brașov (Bonima trademark) -, returns between 4 and 14 September, in the giant tent from Ion Țiriac Sport Arenas. This event was first organised in Brașov in 2009. If at the beginning, there were only 4 days of entertainment, the nest edition will be organised for 11 days. The organisers have tried every year to bring new elements in the event and to improve the quality of services and products. ”We intend to organise an artistic program more diversified every year. It maintains the Romanian-Bavarian structure which provides uniqueness to the festival. Last year, Bucharest accommodated as well a first successful edition. We return this autumn as well with a 11-day program, between 25 September and 5 October. Another surprise! Timișoara will enter as well in the agenda of this event organised between 16 and 19 October” – stated Anemona Hermeneanu, manager of Communication of Oktoberfest Festival.

TÂRGU MUREȘ – PRIVO, a new design hotel

After a soft-opening in 2013, this summer was officially launched Privo hotel from Târgu Mureș (Mureș county). The owner is the young coach Adina Plopeanu. She is the daughter of Emil Morariu, a local investor who made money from beer industry. Privo, which represents an investment of 7 million euro, entered the hotel market with 40 rooms and apartments, with a restaurant having 160 places, 3 conference rooms, lobby-bar, terrace, wine cellar and SPA centre. ”We are designing 2015 a new receipt level of around 900.000 euro which we are going to reach by consolidation, standardisation and promotion of PRIVO concept, including on international level. Naturally, our target is to be leaders on this segment”- declares Otilia Demian, Business Development Manager of Privo.

Privo is a design hotel included in a lodging assembly classified with 4 and 5 stars. It includes as well Csonka Vila (6 rooms), a historical Art Nouveau style building. Both are located in a park of 3.500 square meters. A first confirmation of the investment originality has been provided, in June, in Vienna, where Privo Hotel won on non-residential Projects section of the competition LIFE CHALLENGE 66, the prize European Façade of the year.

BLUE AIR – partnership with PayPoint

The air company announced the execution of a partnership for payments by PayPoint. Therefore, the Blue Air passengers may pay in august the plane tickets safe and fast by this system of terminals. „The partnership with PayPoint is part of a wide program of diversification and simplification of paying the plane tickets. This new manner of payment is added to the other options of paying the plane tickets, respectively card pay, deposit in cash, CardAvantaj (payment in instalments) etc.” – declared Gheorghe Răcaru, General Manager at Blue Air. ”We are convinced that this collaboration will be a success. The Romanians hold over 8500 PayPoint payment points.”- declared Mugur Dogariu, Managing Director PayPoint Romania.
