Between 9 and 11 May, on the occasion of Europe Day, the town of Brașov will host the Festival of European Regions. The three days of contemporary fair shall animate de old Sfatului Square of the Historical Centre, with a festival focused on traditions and multiculturalism.
At the stands dedicated to tourism, the visitors will find information about the attraction and specificity of every country participating to the festival. In the culinary area, one shall promote the delicacies from all the 28 countries of European Union: from cured cheese, sausages and delicious pies to wines or other inviting drinks. The Braşov Philharmonic Orchestra shall maintain the feast atmosphere, whereas the ballerinas of Braşov Opera shall present classic choreographic moments and traditional dances. Another space opened to public, for free discussions and presentations will be Cafe D’ Europe. There, you may speak with the ambassadors of Austria, Germany or Switzerland, who have already announced their visit to Braşov.
