CARO – Hospitality Capital of IBSF Under 21
Romanian Snooker Federation (FRS), Innovation Travel and IBSF – International Billiards and Snooker Federation announced that the World Snooker Championship – IBSF, Under 21 in Bucharest will take place between 17th and 26th of July 2015, at Caro Hotel Complex, traditional partner of the Romanian Snooker Federation. The competition will reunite about 150 participants to the two categories, women and men, from over 50 countries (Australia, USA, Brazil, Canada, Austria, Netherlands, England, Northern Ireland, Germany, Bulgaria, Poland, Russia, Japan, China, South Africa, Qatar, Australia, etc.). 26 international referees will also arrive in Bucharest. The championship will be open to the public. The event will also be important for tourism. Participants and supporters will be able to familiarize themselves with Bucharest and its surroundings – Raluca Repanovici, managing partner Innovation Travel stated during a press conference.
“It is the first world snooker championship U21 organized in Romania and, on the other hand, the second world snooker championship U21 organized in Europe in the last 10 years, the last having taken place in 2010 in Ireland. Our experience in organizing 4 European snooker championships in Romania, in 2006, 2010 and 2014 represented an important business card.” – Francisc Tobă, FRS president specified. Bucharest goes online
Eventur Bucharest organizes at InterContinental, April 3rd to 5th, the first edition of #EnjoyBucharest. A research of American Express Travel (AMEX) with over 300 travel agencies worldwide aimed establishing the most dynamic travel destinations for the American tourist. Bucharest is surprisingly on the 10th place after cities such as Manaus, Recife, Salvador, Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo (all in Brazil), being followed by Santorini (Greece), Hilton Head (USA), Grand Junction (USA) and Milano (Italy). The 4th edition od the MasterCard Index of Global Destination Cities rates Bucharest number 90, out of 132 most visited cities in the world. „London, Bangkok, Paris, Singapor and Dubai take the first five positions, being cities that have so many tourists also due to the wealth growth of the middle class, the inovations in travel and the need to travel with business” – shows MasterCard.
CHRISTIAN TOUR – 18 years old!
The largest charter holidays Romanian tour operator closed last year with over 52 million euro sales, surpassing its previous 2013 record of 45 million euros, as shown by Marius Pandel, CEO Christian Tour.

„Timeless city Istanbul & faces”
Pigeons, children, wrincled grandfathers’ face, all reflected in the glowing square shaped stones of the small streets of Istanbul or in the luring waters of the Bosphorus, so rich in history. The black and white pictures belong to the Turkish photographer Mustafa Dedeoğlu. His whish was to capture with his camera the imaginary world, the story behind it, but more than that the torment of a life full of charm and simplicity. Istanbul is the city where he was born in 1978, photography being a young passion that started somewhere in 2006. A part of his photos, from the last eight years of working with the camera, where exhibited in March at the National Village Museum ,,Dimitrie Gusti” in Bucharest, under the title „Timeless city Istanbul & faces”. The event took place with the participation of The Embassy of Turkey in Romania, The Turkish Democratic Union in Romania and the Turkish-Muslim Tatar Democratic Union in Romania.

The host of the evening were Lucia Pârvu, the organizer of Vinvest Timișoara and Vintest București, Florin Albu known as Dr. Travel and the writer Mihai Gălățeanu. The tasting concentrated on 13 wines from several Romanian producers and vinyards such as VINARTE, Jidvei, Dealul Dorului, SCDVV Pietroasa, VINCON, Dealu Mare-Urlați, Domeniile Sâmburești, Vlădoi, Anastasia, Casa Bunescu etc. We have sampled remarcable wines! As Lucia Pârvu said, this event announces the wine shows that will take place in Timișoara, at the 12th edition of VINVEST, April 3rd to 5th.
