Reopened five years ago, the Cismigiu hotel in Bucharest celebrated end of last year\u2019s its 105th anniversary. Built in 1912, it is one of the most spectacular patrimony buildings in the Romanian capital city and its remaking took over 15 million euro. 13 years with BLUE AIR
\n<\/strong>Closing of 2017 the largest Romanian air-line Blue Air celebrated 13 years of existence. The story started back in 2004 with 1 plane and 35 employees and continues today with 29 planes and over 1500 people. Radisson Blu \u2013 largest transaction in Romanian Hotel Industry<\/strong>
\nElbit Imaging Ltd. announced in Tel Aviv that its office in Romania signed the contract to sell the company\u2019s share (98,2%) in the Radisson Complex in Bucharest. The value of the tranzaction is of 169,2 million euro, this being the largest hotel transaction in the entire history of Romanian travel business.

The Radisson Complex in Bucharest is centrally located on Victoriei Avenue, in the close vicinity of historical landmarks such as the Romanian Athenaeum, The Royal Palace and The Revolution Square. The Complex is composed of the Radisson Blu and Park Inn hotels, for which Elbit hopped to get 185 million euro. According to sources close to the transaction the new owners of the two hotels are the two investment funds Revetas Capital (with several other investments in Romania) and Cerberus (one of the largest private capital administrators in the world).<\/p>\n

ALBA IULIA awarded for mobility
\n<\/strong>The city of Alba Iulia in Transylvania, Romania, received from the World Transport Organization (IRU), the star prize in 2017. The project \u00a0\u201cAlba Iulia \u2013 Smart City 2018 for intelligent mobility\u201d impressed the international jury. Mircea Hava, mayor of Alba Iulia, said: \u201dAlba Iulia decided to be a top tourist destination. Creating facilities for the travellers that come by bus is important and the prize that we received shows we are going in the right direction.\u201d

The National Union of Road Hauliers from Romania, active member of IRU, is the promoter of the above event. Radu Dinescu, General secretary od the union, said: \u201eWe are happy that Alba Iulia accepted the invite to candidate in this international competition, being part of the global campaign fo inteligent mobility Smart Move.
