They announced that this year will buy two  old aircraft for Arsenal Park, probably Boeings of 150 seats, where to  make a hotel and a disco.<br \/>\nArsenal Park was opened two years ago, on the spot of a former  gun factory, on an 88 hectares surface. It is located in Or\u0103\u015ftie,  Hunedoara County, and is 4 stars rated holyday complex. Marius Cristescu  said that, up to the moment, they invested 10 million euro in this  plan. \u201cWe have the ambition to transform Arsenal Park in the largest  open air military museum in Europe. It will eventually gather over 500  pieces\u201d \u2013 added Radu Cristescu.<br \/>\nPetre Racovi\u0163\u0103, general director of Arsenal Park (nicknamed  military unit for holydays) says that \u201cthere are several projects we  expect to have European finances for. We aim building a football field, a  Spa centre, a sports centre, ridding facilities as well as 16  kilometers of bicycle track\u201d. He added that in the two years since  functional Arsenal Park received over 10.000 visitors, with a 20-25% of  foreigners. The offer is wide, ranging from adventure tours to cultural  and historical visits to the Dacian citadels in Mun\u0163ii Or\u0103\u015ftiei (made  with collection old cars), guiding and catering services in order to  live unique experiences.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Blue Air already thinks about winter season <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.travellermagazin.ro\/foto\/86\/english\/mici\/Blue-engl.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"150\" \/>The  first smart flying company in Romania, having an integral Romanian  capital, announced the official winter flights schedule for 2011-2012.  Even though summer did not yet arrive you can start planning your winter  holydays looking forward to the very attractive prices for flights  between October 30, 2011 and March 24, 2012. The fares start at 14,99  euro per segment (taxes included, limited availability, free online  check-in for Bucharest and Bac\u0103u). The winter destinations from  Bucharest are: Madrid, Paris-Beauvais, Barcelona, Milan-Bergamo,  Valencia, Rome, Bologna, Brussels, Malaga, Stuttgart, Larnaca,  London-Luton, Dublin, Naples, Catania, and Nice. From Bac\u0103u Blue Air  will fly to Rome, Milan-Bergamo, Torino-Cuneo, London-Luton \u2013 as  Florentina Tatu, PR director of Blue Air, said.<br \/>\nThe complete timetable and schedule for the winter season is to be found on www.blueairweb.com.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Congresses go for rural<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.travellermagazin.ro\/foto\/86\/english\/mici\/Congres-Rural-engl.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"150\" \/>The  Transylvanian city of Alba Iulia hosted the 4th and 5th of May the  International Congress for Rural Tourism. The theme has been \u201cRural  tourism \u2013 an instrument in building identity and a chance for quality  standards\u201d. The event gathered among participants several experts from  Spain, Greece, Hungary, Poland, France, Belgium, Italy, etc. The  congress has been organized by the Ministry of Tourism (MDRT) and The  National Association for Rural Tourism (ANTREC) in a partnership with  EUROGITES. Romania had been previously hosting in Bran (2004), the  International Conference of Rural Tourism with the theme: \u201eRural Tourism  and Eco Tourism \u2013 potential and perspectives\u201d, also presented by our  magazine.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>20 years of Continental Hotels<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.travellermagazin.ro\/foto\/86\/english\/mici\/Conti-Enache-engl.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"267\" \/>The  most dynamic Romanian hotel chain is 20 years old. Continental Hotels  was founded in 1991 having Nicolae Fertig (general director of the  society at that time) as a craftsman of its concept. In order to develop  the chain the specialists of Continental Hotels renounced at some  properties in Bucharest, Timi\u015foara and Cluj but, in a strategic  partnership with Accor, they have attracted the Ibis brand. The first  hotel that came with this name in 2001 the former \u201eNord\u201d in Bucharest,  located nearby the North Train Station. Two other followed in 2005: Ibis  Parlament (in the Capital city) and Ibis Constan\u0163a. In 2009 the former  Continental in Sibiu reopened as Ibis as well.<\/p>\n<p>Radu Enache, president of the chain Continental Hotels, said: \u201eI  am very proud of what the Continental team accomplished. We now have  more than 1860 rooms, 13 restaurants, 19 coffee shops, 54 conference  rooms, and 4 Spa areas, all of them being in-house.<br \/>\nWe have developed nine brands of our own regarding the hotels  and Horeca segment: Continental Forum (4 stars, Continental (3 stars),  Grand Hotel Continental (five stars), Hello Hotels (2 stars), Balkan  Bistro, Mondo, Concerto, Tekaffe and Victoria Club\u201d.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>CONSTAN\u0162A \u2013 good news for the mosaic<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One of the most important attractions at the  <a title=\"black sea\" href=\"http:\/\/www.infotravelromania.ro\/agentii_oferte\/litoral.html\" target=\"_blank\">Black Sea<\/a>, the Roman mosaic in Constan\u0163a, has got all the chances to  shine again. The restoration works where started in a private  partnership by Groove Hour in Constan\u0163a, following the poor conservation  of the site. It is estimated that they will take four years.<br \/>\nAccording to some preliminary studies the starting costs go as  much as 300.000 euro, the final price of all the needed works reaching a  one million euro budget. \u201cIt order to be able to finance the project  there has been signed a partnership with the company Dobrogea SA in  Constan\u0163a. They will launch the \u201cAntique Roman Bread\u201d, an original  product made out of wheat after an old Roman recipe. 10% of the selling  price of each bread will be directed in order to finance the restoration  and conservation of the roman mosaic\u201d \u2013 said Drago\u015f Paiu, marketing  director of Groove Hour. <a title=\"TRAVELLER MAGAZIN\" href=\"http:\/\/www.infotravelromania.ro\/revisteturism.html\" target=\"_blank\">Traveller Magazin<\/a> is one of the media partners  sustaining this private initiative for the salvation of world valuable  monument.<br \/>\nThe Roman mosaic dates back to the 4th century, and is a unique  work of art due to its dimensions (100 meters long and 20 meters wide)  and execution technique. It has been uncovered and exposed in the period  1958-1960.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Rom\u00e2nia will be in 24 international tourism fairs<\/strong><br \/>\nThe tourism offers of Romania will be presented this year by the  Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism (MDRT) in no more than 24  international profile <a title=\"TRAVEL FAIRS INTERNATIONAL\" href=\"http:\/\/www.infotravelromania.ro\/targuri_internationale.html\" target=\"_blank\">fairs<\/a>. There will be a priority in presenting the  national brand in 8 countries, the places that sent the highest number  of visitors in 2009: Germany, France, Italy, USA, Austria, Great Britain  and Ireland, Russia and Hungary. MDRT is also going to participate in  the tourism fairs organized in Spain, Poland and Israel. Among the  official presentation events six will be in USA, five in Germany, three  in Austria and two for France or Spain. The largest stand, 400 sqm, has  been made in the International Tourism market of Berlin, in March.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>R\u00e2\u015fnov citadel chooses modern<\/strong><br \/>\nOne of the most visited spots in Bra\u015fov County after the Black  Church and the Bran Castle, the R\u00e2\u015fnov citadel, will go through new  transformations. Adrian Ve\u015ftea, mayor of the city, announced another  step in the restoration of the place. As a first thing the lighting  system will be modernized, being changed with an optical fiber system  that will permit live broadcasts of the cultural activities in the  citadel. The new museum to show up will have a permanent 200 sqm  exhibition, showcasing Romanian and foreign pieces as well.
