Competi\u021bia ce se desfa\u0219oar\u0103 o data la 4 ani, este a doua ca m\u0103rime dupa IKA Culinary Olympics. Peste 100 de echipe (na\u021bionale, juniori, regionale \u0219i catering) formate din peste 1.000 profesioni\u0219ti de pe 5 continente \u0219i-au etalat calit\u0103\u021bile teoretice \u0219i practice la una dintre cele mai prestigioase competi\u021bii culinare. Pe parcursul a cinci zile juriul interna\u021bional format din 55 de profesioni\u0219ti din domeniul gastronomiei a avut o misiune extrem de dificil\u0103. Actuala edi\u021bie a fost organizat\u0103 de Vatel-Club Luxembourg iar evenimentul este acreditat de Worldchefs (World Association of Chefs Societies).<br \/>\n<strong>Rom\u00e2nia a fost reprezentat\u0103 de Asocia\u021bia Na\u021bional\u0103 a Bucat\u0103rilor \u0219i Cofetarilor din Turism (ANBCT) \u2013 singura asocia\u021bie din Rom\u00e2nia cu drepturi depline \u00een Worldchefs.<\/strong> Echipele participante, formate din profesionisti, membrii ANBCT s-au luptat s\u0103 ob\u021bin\u0103 locuri pe podium \u00eentr-un concurs animat permanent de arti\u0219ti \u0219i ambi\u021bii. 7 medalii au r\u0103spl\u0103tit preg\u0103tirea lor, inclusiv la individual. Echipa Na\u021bional\u0103 a Rom\u00e2niei \u2013 format\u0103 din Orlando Zaharia, Drago\u0219 Bercea, Istvan Vajda, Istvan Vere\u0219, Cornel Cioac\u0103 \u0219i Vera Maxim \u2013 condusa de \u0218tefan Bercea (team manager), a reu\u0219it s\u0103 c\u00e2\u0219tige 2 medalii de bronz. O medalie la proba \u201cRestaurantul Na\u021biunilor\u201d \u2013 unde au avut de g\u0103tit 110 meniuri formate din trei feluri \u00een 6 ore \u0219i \u00eenc\u0103 o medalie la proba \u201cExpozi\u021bie de Art\u0103 Culinar\u0103\u201d &#8211; unde au prezentat: Platou festiv pentru 8 persoane; Finger food \u2013 4 sortimente; Gustare cald\u0103 \u2013 3 sortimente; Meniu vegetarian format din 3 feluri \u0219i un Meniu festiv format din 5 feluri. Partea de cofet\u0103rie a fost compus\u0103 din: Platou de Petit-fours \u2013 4 sortimente; 4 deserturi exclusiviste (desert din ciocolata \/ desert din fructe \/ desert f\u0103r\u0103 gluten \/ desert la alegere). O impresie deosebit\u0103 a f\u0103cut \u0219i Piesa festiv\u0103 (Operele lui Br\u00e2ncu\u0219i: Coloana Infinitului, Masa T\u0103cerii \u0219i Domni\u0219oara Pogany &#8211; sculptur\u0103 \u00een ciocolat\u0103).<br \/>\nLa r\u00e2ndul ei Echipa regional\u0103 Belvedere Bra\u0219ov a ob\u021binut o medalie de argint ca \u0219i Echipa regional\u0103 a Asocia\u021biei Buc\u0103tarilor Transilvania la proba \u201cExpozi\u021bie de Art\u0103 Culinar\u0103\u201d. La individual Carmela Dragomir \u2013 \u0219i-a adjudecat o Medalie de aur iar Simona Popescu \u2013 una de argint \u0219i una de bronz la proba \u201cD2 Pastry Artistry\u201d \u2013 sculptur\u0103 \u00een zah\u0103r sau ciocolat\u0103.<\/p>\n<p>O radiografie a particip\u0103rii rom\u00e2ne\u0219ti a fost f\u0103cut\u0103 \u00een exclusivitate pentru revista noastr\u0103 de \u0218tefan Bercea, pre\u0219edintele ANBCT, Membru \u00een juriul Worldchefs (nivel A), \u00een acela\u0219i timp \u0219i ambasador Chefs Without Borders: \u201d\u021ain\u00e2nd cont de anvergura evenimentului, de condi\u021biile de participare \u0219i de exigen\u021ba juriului, consider\u0103m c\u0103 buc\u0103tarii \u0219i cofetarii no\u0219tri s-au prezentat foarte bine \u0219i pentru rezultatele ob\u021binute merit\u0103 toate felicit\u0103rile din partea breslei. Asist\u0103m la un schimb de genera\u021bii care au alte sisteme de referin\u021b\u0103. Realitatea este acceptat\u0103 mai greu, dar \u00eenclin s\u0103 cred c\u0103 a\u0219a s-a \u00eent\u00e2mplat \u00eentotdeauna. Cert este c\u0103 avem buni profesioni\u0219ti, seniori azi, de la care am avut ce s\u0103 \u00eenv\u0103\u021b\u0103m, \u0219i asta ar trebui s\u0103 mul\u021bumeasc\u0103 pe toat\u0103 lumea care lucreaz\u0103 cu devotament \u00een gastronomie. De obicei echipele ce se \u00eenscriu \u00een concurs \u00eencep s\u0103 se antreneze imediat cum s-a terminat competi\u021bia mondial\u0103 precedent\u0103, respectiv cu 4 ani \u00eenainte. La noi a fost mai dificil, deoarece doi dintre membrii s-au retras cu c\u00eeteva luni \u00eenainte din echip\u0103. A trebuit s\u0103 facem rapid modific\u0103ri, aspect pe care l-am dep\u0103\u0219it.<\/p>\n<p>Echipa a lucrat pentru echip\u0103 iar experien\u021ba tuturor tinerilor &#8211; veni\u021bi de la Bra\u0219ov, Predeal, T\u00eergu Secuiesc, Br\u0103ila, Cluj -, unii medalia\u021bi la competi\u021bii na\u021bionale ori interna\u021bionale sau ale Concursurilor Master Chef, a contat foarte mult. Personalit\u0103\u021bi \u00een devenire ei au contribuit la cristalizarea unei echipe na\u021bionale ambi\u021bioase. Antrenamentele au avut loc la Cabana V\u00e2n\u0103torilor din Predeal \u0219i la sediul Bilancia. Aici se cuvine s\u0103 mul\u021bumim directorului Valentin Neagu, pentru suportul \u0219i logistica puse la dispozi\u021bie. Mul\u021bumiri speciale sponsorilor \u0219i partenerilor care au f\u0103cut posibil\u0103 participarea echipei na\u021bionale la acest mare eveniment: Vectra International, Bilancia, Nordic, Tess Bra\u0219ov, Nemox, Robot Coupe, Bibas MEC3, Cramele Opri\u0219or, Pene\u0219 Curcanul, Coco Rico, Delaco, Thermomix, Vinarte, Baum Games, Vighor, Hotel-Restaurant Cabana V\u00e2n\u0103torilor Predeal, Restaurant Prato Bra\u0219ov, Restaurant Iconic Bucure\u0219ti, Restaurant Chef\u2019s Boutique Codlea, Restaurant M\u0103cie\u0219ul T\u00e2rgul Secuiesc \u0219i Cofet\u0103ria Poem Caffe.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ne-a \u00eentristat faptul c\u0103 de\u0219i ini\u021bial a existat interes din partea Autorit\u0103\u021bii Na\u021bionale pentru Turism, ulterior prin schimbarea conducerii, sus\u021binerea noastr\u0103 financiar\u0103 s-a pierdut \u00een cea\u021b\u0103.<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nP\u0103cat, pentru c\u0103 p\u00e2n\u0103 la urm\u0103 era vorba, \u0219i la fiecare competi\u021bie despre acest aspect vorbim, de promovarea ROM\u00c2NIEI.
