Pe aceast\u0103 linie s-au pozi\u0163ionat speach-urile \u015fi dezbaterile deschise de <strong>Sorin Oprescu, Primarul General al Bucure\u015ftiului.<\/strong> El s-a ar\u0103tat onorat de sus\u0163inerea industriei hoteliere \u015fi turistice \u00een realizarea proiectelor administra\u0163iei locale de a pozi\u0163iona c\u00e2t mai rapid Capitala pe harta destina\u0163iilor demne de vizitat de c\u0103l\u0103tori din \u00eentreaga lume. De asemenea el a subliniat c\u0103 \u00een calitatea pe care o are de \u201cCel mai bun primar dintre doctori \u015fi cel mai bun doctor dintre primari\u201d, va r\u0103spunde prezent la orice parteneriat ori invita\u0163ie formulate de c\u0103tre industrie. Thomas Emanuel, Director of Business Development la STR Global a ar\u0103tat c\u0103 , \u00een septembrie 2012, o parte a segmentului hotelier a revenit la nivelul din 2008, v\u00e2nz\u00e2ndu-se 97 milioane de camere. Gradul de ocupare este de 67%, acela\u015fi \u00een 2011 ca \u015fi anul acesta. Bucure\u015ftiul este apreciat ca fiind o pia\u0163\u0103 constant\u0103, cu o sc\u0103dere de doar 2% a gradului de ocupare:\u00a0 53% \u00een septembrie \u015fi o medie de 75 Eur pe camer\u0103. Cu toate acestea luna octombrie a fost o surpriz\u0103 deoarece ora\u015ful a \u00eenregistrat un grad hotelier de ocupare de 69%, fiind cel mai mare procentaj atins din anul 2007.
