Este cea mai ampl\u0103 manifestare a buc\u0103tarilor, concursul desf\u0103\u015fur\u00e2ndu-se odat\u0103 la 4 ani. Seniorii (echipa a avut o v\u00e2rst\u0103 medie de 37 de ani) au fost distin\u015fi cu medalie de bronz la Restaurantul Na\u0163iunilor respectiv cu medalie de bronz la sec\u0163iunea\u00a0 Bufet rece &#8211; Art\u0103 culinar\u0103. \u015ei echipa na\u0163ional\u0103 de juniori (18-24 de ani) a fost distins\u0103 cu 2 medalii de bronz la sec\u0163iunea Buc\u0103t\u0103rie cald\u0103, respectiv la\u00a0 Bufet rece &#8211; Art\u0103 culinar\u0103. C\u00e2\u015ftig\u0103toarea absolut\u0103 a Olimpiadei buc\u0103tarilor a fost, pe na\u0163iuni, Suedia. \u00cen clasamentul general, echipa de seniori a Rom\u00e2niei s-a clasat pe locul 27 din 35 de na\u0163iuni, iar juniorii 18 din 25 de echipe de juniori \u2013 ne-a precizat Gabriela Berechet, team-managerul echipelor la Olimpiada buc\u0103tarilor &#8211; IKA 2012.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.travellermagazin.ro\/arhiva\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IKA-team-2012.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1755\" title=\"IKA team 2012\" src=\"http:\/\/www.travellermagazin.ro\/arhiva\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IKA-team-2012.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"799\" height=\"599\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.travellermagazin.ro\/arhiva\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IKA-team-2012.jpg 799w, http:\/\/www.travellermagazin.ro\/arhiva\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IKA-team-2012-300x224.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 799px) 100vw, 799px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Echipa na\u0163ional\u0103 a seniorilor (medie de v\u00e2rst\u0103 37 de ani), a avut urm\u0103toarea componen\u0163\u0103: Ioan Florescu (c\u0103pitan), Cornelia Ghi\u015foi, Samuiel Rus, Orlando-Lauren\u0163iu Zaharia, Daniel Buzea \u015fi Carmela Dragomir. Ei au propus pentru Restaurantul Na\u0163iunilor, unde locul la mas\u0103 \u015fi consuma\u0163ia se pl\u0103te\u015fte, un meniu savuros. Acesta a fost format dintr-o gustare (\u201dSandwich\u201d de \u015fal\u0103u la la cuptor, \u00een duet cu somon umplut cu br\u00e2nz\u0103 de capr\u0103, pe pat de biscuite crocant de ardei gras, servit cu budinc\u0103 de conopid\u0103, canelloni umplut cu ragu de scoici, pralina de cus-cus, cu folie fierbinte de praz \u015fi spum\u0103 de m\u0103rar), urmat de preparatul de baz\u0103 ( Muschiule\u0163 de vi\u0163el de lapte cu ierburi aromate, posat, \u00een crust\u0103 de nuci, cu foie-gras, \u00een mantie de zucchini, cu terin\u0103 din spat\u0103 \u015fi momi\u0163e de vi\u0163el \u00een mantie de crem\u0103 de p\u0103st\u00e2rnac, \u00a0servit cu\u00a0 muffins din cartofi cu trufe, tart\u0103 cu ciuperci, piure de dovleac aromat cu anason, legume verzi sotate \u00een unt, sos brun aromat cu ficat de g\u00e2sc\u0103, sos de sm\u00e2nt\u00e2n\u0103 cu g\u0103lbiori). La r\u00e2ndul s\u0103u Echipa na\u0163ional\u0103 de juniori (tineri 18-24 ani), a fost alc\u0103tuit\u0103 din Silvian Scornea (c\u0103pitan, f\u0103r\u0103 condi\u0163ie de v\u00e2rst\u0103), Drago\u015f Bercea, Iulian Chivu, George Baciu, Alexandru Vreme \u015fi Viorica Com\u0103rniceanu (cofetar). El a fost frecventat de peste 200.000 de vizitatori. \u00cen buc\u0103t\u0103riile special amenajate \u015fi-au etalat cuno\u015ftin\u0163ele membrii a 35 de\u00a0 echipe na\u0163ionale, 25 de echipe na\u0163ionale de juniori, 8 echipe militare, 4 de patiseri, 14 de buc\u0103tari pentru cantine, 46 de echipe regionale, 1.320 de buc\u0103tari din \u00eentreaga lume \u00eenscri\u015fi la concurs. \u00cen cele 4 zile \u201cscenariul\u201d a inclus peste 10.000 de farfurii, 9.360 tac\u00e2muri. Au fost prelucrate\u00a0 20.000 ou\u0103, 1 ton\u0103 carne, 1,2 tone pe\u015fte, 700 kg cartofi, 4,6 tone legume, 2.500 litri produse lactate (fri\u015fca, sm\u00e2nt\u00e2n\u0103, lapte), circa 240 de kilograme de zah\u0103r \u015fi sare \u015fi 80 de kilograme de condimente! Profitul estimat de organizatori dep\u0103\u015fe\u015fte 3,5 milioane de euro. <strong><br \/>\nM.
