Organized by the Municipality of Bucharest the festival marks 100 years since the death of Ion Luca Caragiale, offering 100 shows and 100 best actors of the theaters: Na\u0163ional, Nottara, Comedy, Masca, Metropolis, The National Opera and The Globus Circus.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.travellermagazin.ro\/arhiva\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/Festival-Caragiale-engl.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1450 alignleft\" title=\"Festival Caragiale engl\" src=\"http:\/\/www.travellermagazin.ro\/arhiva\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/Festival-Caragiale-engl.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"390\" height=\"274\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.travellermagazin.ro\/arhiva\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/Festival-Caragiale-engl.jpg 390w, http:\/\/www.travellermagazin.ro\/arhiva\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/Festival-Caragiale-engl-300x210.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 390px) 100vw, 390px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nThe shows will be presented to the public on open air stages throughout the city, in special places recreating the interwar atmosphere such as the Old Quarters of Lipscani. There is a stage at the crossing of Francez\u0103 and Po\u015ftei streets and also a representations space on the terrace of the \u201cLa Conu\u2019 Iancu\u201d restaurant located in the historical area of Hala Traian. The restaurant is a property of a tourism business owner &#8211; Mircea Poenaru. The shows are famous works directed by Mihai M\u0103laimare, Diana Lupescu, and Gelu Colceag etc. In some of the evenings one can also see films of older plays of Caragiale. Keep in mind this place for your next seaside escape!<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong>A Ukrainian discovers Romania<br \/>\n<\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.travellermagazin.ro\/arhiva\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/Carte-ucraina-engl.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-1451\" title=\"Carte ucraina engl\" src=\"http:\/\/www.travellermagazin.ro\/arhiva\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/Carte-ucraina-engl-206x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"206\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.travellermagazin.ro\/arhiva\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/Carte-ucraina-engl-206x300.jpg 206w, http:\/\/www.travellermagazin.ro\/arhiva\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/Carte-ucraina-engl.jpg 488w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 206px) 100vw, 206px\" \/><\/a>Wyacheslav Lozhko, Ukrainian journalist and writer, author of over 30 books, published a unique travel volume: \u201cDiscovery of Romania\u201d. The documentation for this book has been made in 2011, during the 53rd World Federation of Travel Journalists &amp; Writers (FIJET) Congres, organized by Romania. The 160 pages offer about 80 fotos showing images of Bucharest, Bucovina, Sibiu, Sighi\u015foara, but also people and traditions that give uniqueness to these places. In one of the chapters Lozhko writes: \u201cI have been simpli astonished by the beauty of the villages in Bucovina. Each house is a work of art in itself. It seems obvious that people have build them from the heart, giving spirit from theyr spirit. Each decoration is unique. I couldn\u2019t take my eyes of all these beauty. I have been impressed by the excellent infrastructure that this Corner of Heaven in Rom\u00e2nia has\u201d. The book was published in Ukrainian and English.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong>Cismigiu is beautiful!<br \/>\n<\/strong>Why only visit museums or palaces? Parks are a treasure as well &#8211; and following this idea the Infoniac made an on-line top of the most appreciated parks all over Europe. The Ci\u015fmigiu public gardens in Bucharest are ranked number seven out of 10 selected destinations. Opened in 1854 this park follows the elegant project of the Viennese garden designer Carl Friederich Wilhelm Meyer. It is the oldest and the most romantic public garden of the capital city of Romania, being located in the historical area of the town. The other parks included in the top are: Sofiero &#8211; Helsingborg (Sweden), Keukenhof &#8211; Lisse (The Netherlands), Luxemburg &#8211; Paris (France), Villa Borghese &#8211; Roma (Italy), Hyde Park \u2013 London and Parade Gardens &#8211; Bath (UK), Berg Park &#8211; Kassel (Germany), the Summer Garden in Sankt Petersburg (Russia) and Varoshliget in Budapest (Hungary).<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong>A new hotel in the Historical Quarters<br \/>\n<\/strong>After a long restoration project one of the historical buildings located near Hanul lui Manuc pedestrian area of Bucharest, opened as a hotel. Europa Royale has 92 rooms, two conference rooms, a lounge bar and an 85 seats restaurant. The new location is a part of the Europa Group Hotels, a chain that holds a total of 622 hotel rooms in six European cities. The concept of the investors, also developed in Bucharest, is selecting good locations in historical buildings, in old city centers. End of July the R\u00e2\u015fnov Citadel opened the events list with knight\u2019s challenges, lots of dancing and great food delicacies. The following events come at the Citadel of Brasov (August 5th), at the Heart of Queen Mary field near Bran Castle (August 10-12th), F\u0103g\u0103ra\u015f Citadel (August 16-19th). All the ceremonies will conclude August 31st at the Fortified Church of Feldioara. The event gathers traditional craftsmanship from all over the country (blacksmiths, ceramists, painters or doll makers, etc) and also offers a Medieval Kindergarten with specific activities for children. Fashion. Light and vibrating colours. Glass and light waterfalls. Excellent unique furniture and finishings. All these are some of the refined touches of the newest five stars complex of Bucharest. Located down town Marshal Garden is the propriety of the businessman Ion Antonescu, the founder of one of the first private travel agencies in Romania \u2013 Marshal Turism. The complex is the second hotel of the investor. It has a capacity of 63 rooms, two conference rooms (Panoramic, 400 seats and Safir, 70 seats). Ristorante Danieli is compeleted by a bar and a teahouse, the last location offering free delights all day long. The investment totals up 10 million euro.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Signatures for \u201eStory &amp; Glory\u201d<br \/>\n<\/strong>Over one hundred ambassadors in Bucharest, cultural personalities and the tourism media representatives, have left their signatures on the wood of three special boats. They wear the names of the three Danube branches flowing in the Black Sea: Chilia, Sulina and Sf. Gheorghe. The genuine \u201ecanotca\u201d boats have been baptised by the Association \u201cIvan Patzaichin \u2013 Mila 23\u201d at the International fair The Danube &amp; Delta, held at Romexpo. The event is a part of the \u201cDanube Connection. Story &amp; Glory\u201d project that aims to promote leisure activities, eco tourism and multicultural values in the countries that share the Danube waters. The three boats have been produced in a workshop financed by the multiple Romanian world champion Ivan Patzaichin.
