The manifestation will attract the participation of some representatives from Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Hungary, Italy and Romania. The financial consulting services will be provided by Lufthansa Consulting. Marnix Groot, manager of Lufthansa Consulting, declared in Bucharest Bucure\u015fti that \u201ethe project is feasible and the construction of airport will last 30 months. The investment will reach 220 million euros\u201d. Gheorghe R\u0103caru, manager of Development of the Group of companies involved in the project, states that \u201e The airport will be designed with a single taxiway and in order to shelter generally C category aircrafts, for short and average flights. We are generally referring to Boeing B737 and Airbus A320. The investment is developed in 3-4 stages.\u201d<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong>Gastronomic secrets from Athos Mountain <\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The gourmet lovers will have the occasion to consult 130 recipes collected in a recipe book from Athos Mountain. The volume has the signature of monk Epifanios Mylopotaminos, who has been cooking for 38 years at Athos Mountain. The recipe book was translated in German, English and Russian and soon will be launched as well in Romanian. In Bucharest, the recipes from the kitchen of Athos Mountain (octopus soup, salad with crithmum maritimum from the gulf of the Saint Mountain, cod with marrows and farina halva with fruit from the forest of Aristotel) were prepared with Roxana Anghel, executive chef and the cook team of Continental.\u00a0 The event is part of \u201cGourmet caravan\u201d organised between May 15th and June 15th in the hotels of Continental chains.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Courtyard \u2013 within one year and a half<\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Within around one year and a half, the second hotel of Marriott International Inc. chain<a href=\"http:\/\/www.travellermagazin.ro\/arhiva\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/Courtyard-echipa.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1324\" title=\"Courtyard echipa\" src=\"http:\/\/www.travellermagazin.ro\/arhiva\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/Courtyard-echipa-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.travellermagazin.ro\/arhiva\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/Courtyard-echipa-300x199.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.travellermagazin.ro\/arhiva\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/Courtyard-echipa.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a> and the first under the brand of Courtyard Marriott will be opened in Bucharest. The partnership for the building, development and operation of this hotel was signed at the end of April between the company of Gic\u0103 Popescu Hotels, whose president is the former football player Gheorghe Popescu and John Litzenberger, vice-president of Marriott International Lodging Development Europe.<\/p>\n<p>The hotel will be located in 1st sector. Courtyard Marriott Bucharest Hotel will be operated in terms of a direct management contract. The investment is quoted to around 20 million euros. The construction works will begin in July. The project belongs to the office Architect Service. The hotel will be a 4-star hotel. It will provide 146 rooms, 4 conference rooms, bar, spa and commercial spaces.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong>UEFA FINAL: Football fiesta in Bucharest<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Around 30,000 foreign supporters participated on May 9th at the Final UEFA Europe League organised for the first time in Bucharest, the capital of Romania. Atletico Madrid was awarded the trophy pursuant to the score of 3-0 against the team of Athletico Bilbao. Beyond the sport show on the stadium, witnessed by several personalities, the days of May 8th -10th marked as well a tourist boom. The day of May 9th was the more crowded day in the history of Henri Coand\u0103 Bucharest International Airport where 63 charter courses landed, from Bilbao and Madrid, that brought around 13,000 supporters of the finalist teams. The aircrafts were \u201cparked\u201d on 2 kilometres. The number is 16% higher than of those came by regular courses. According to the Bucharest Airports National Company (CNAB), other hundreds of supporters landed on Bucharest B\u0103neasa \u2013 Aurel Vlaicu airport. Every year, the Committee on Social Affairs, Health and Sustainable Development of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (APCE) rewards a range of localities with several categories of distinctions: Europe Prize, medal of honour, flags of honour or European diplomas. This year, the most awarded town in the country &#8211; Sighi\u015foara \u2013 was awarded the Prize of Europe. This recompenses the efforts for the promotion of European unity of the municipalities of the 47 states members of the Council of Europe.
